Boho Vibes in the City

Hello Lovlies!

Spring has arrived! This weekend has been nothing but sunny skies, warm temps, and blooming flowers! So naturally, all of Cincy went downtown!

I couldn’t resist snagging a few photos by the murals down in OTR. Especially with this gorgeous dress! It’s literally my favorite item in my closet right now!

I stalked this dress online for the better part of last year. I loved it so much, and I have always wanted to shop at Free People. The only thing that has ever stopped me…is the prices. This dress was sitting at $168 online, so there was no chance that I would buy it. Even if I did have the budget to shop there regularly…I would never be able to bring myself to spend that much on a single dress.

So my husband, being the amazing man that he is, snagged this dress for my birthday the second that it went on clearance. This dress came in and I was instantly in love. It fits true to size, I got my usual size large. And the quality! The embroidery on this dress is to die for! There was not a single stitch out of place and it is sewn all down the mesh sleeves and along the back.

This dress was 100% worth the money…when it was on sale. I still wouldn’t have paid the full price. But it inspired me to start hunting for Free People clothing that was on major sale. I had no idea that you could find their clothing at Macy’s, Nordstrom Rack, and a million other places. I even found some of their dresses at TJ Maxx.

So moral of the story, if you love the boho vibes of Free People…but not the price…hunt for it elsewhere. It can always be found on sale, maybe a few seasons behind, but who cares. And if you’re loving my bestie’s gorgeous yellow jumpsuit, you can find it at Target right now!

I hope you enjoyed my random ramblings about this dress. I know I’ve been all over the place and off my normal blog schedule, but work has been crazy this year. This is the busiest I feel like I’ve ever been. Don’t get me wrong, I love it! But I’m definitely ready for a break this summer. I hope everyone is enjoying some warmer spring weather this weekend!

Much love,

Kelly Elizabeth
